lyrics

And now, story time:

Little Tyrus loves gathering flat round stones from the banks of Roaring River and using them to line the borders of his prize-winning dandelion garden, which grows larger and more yellowy every summer.

As he makes his way 'round to Grand Prairie Clearing for a tasty mug of hot Strawberry Cider he thinks to himself how yellow really is the happiest color…

This morning as the sun shines through the apple trees in his front yard the birds who are usually singing sonatas, cantatas . . . and jazz, are somewhat retiring in their melodies. Something is changed thought Tyrus but he can't quite put his paw on it because, well …

This is a happy story.

It’s 10 o'clock and Tyrus’ friend Mumble arrives, smiling as usual, wearing his patchwork coat of blue and talking amiably about the previous evening’s painting party. A convivial and knowledgeable host Mumble knows lots paintings personally from all over and enjoys bringing each of them together for their richly animated friendly conversation.

Mumble’s arrival now means breakfast is here and Tyrus dances with animal excitement as Mumble sets his overflowing basket on the bright yellow tablecloth. At once there are eggs, butter and toast, puddings and bread, and curiously, lots of little delicacies unrecognizable to Tyrus. He wonders what they are and if he will actually like them.

But that doesn’t matter because this, is a happy story.

Why don't you say hello
Why aren't you here
When I pick up my phone
The answer's clear
